FLAG, SYMBOL AND RALLYING CRY
Article 6: The Flag of the Development Party

The background colour of the flag the Development Party is lime, as the symbol of the love of the Development Party and all its members for harmony, security and universal peace in keeping with the vision, mission and principal objectives of the Development Party;
The yellow line around the flag symbolizes the sincerity of the Development Party and its members in upholding the concept of the Primacy of the Malay Sultanate of Brunei and to support without reservation the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Ruler of the Nation State of Brunei Darussalam and his efforts to develop the Nation State and to strengthen national unity;
The Logo at the centre of the flag in Jawi script portrays the initial letters of the word “Parti” (Party) and the word “Pembangunan” (Development) (Fa Fa);
The width of the flag is twice its height.
Article 7: Symbol of the Development Party

The Logo at the centre of the flag in Jawi script portrays the initial letters of the word “Parti” (Party) and the word “Pembangunan” (Development) (Fa Fa); drawn in the shape of a drop of oil, symbolizing the country’s resource for development;
The background colour of the circle is lime, which symbolizes the love of the Development Party and all its members for harmony, security and universal peace in keeping with the vision, mission and principal objectives of the Development Party;
The circular yellow line around the lime background symbolizes the sincerity of the Development Party and its members in upholding the concept of the Primacy of the Malay Sultanate of Brunei and to support without reservation the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Ruler of the Nation State of Brunei Darussalam and his efforts to develop the Nation State and to strengthen national unity.
Article 8: Rallying Cry
The Rallying Cry of the Development Party is “ALLAHU AKBAR”, (GOD IS GREAT) in emulation of and to acquire blessing from the cry of the magnification of Almighty God uttered by Almarhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien at the Ceremony of Declaration of Independance of the Nation State of Brunei Darussalam on the First of January 1984.
